A wireless water level controller is a device that monitors the water level in a storage tank (or multiple tanks) and automatically controls a pump (turning it on or off) without requiring a wired connection between the tank sensor and the pump control unit. Instead of running long sensor wires from the tank to the motor starter, the sensor module (transmitter) at the tank sends data wirelessly (typically via RF) to a receiver module that controls the pump. This makes installation easier, especially in buildings where drilling or long wiring is hard, or where wiring costs are high.
