At the heart of every innovation is a passion — and ours began in the classrooms of a government engineering college in Palakkad.
Saron Innovature Labs LLP was founded in 2016 by Mr. Anuraj Natarajan, a visionary educator and passionate hardware developer. At the time, he served as a lecturer at the Government Engineering College, Palakkad — a place that not only nurtured technical talent but also sparked the idea for something greater. It was here, within the college’s Technical Incubation Centre, that the seeds of Saron Innovature were first sown.
With a deep-rooted passion for electronics, environmental sustainability, and community welfare, Mr. Anuraj envisioned a future where technology served both people and the planet. This vision gave birth to Saron’s first innovation — the Intelligent Pump Controller System, a smart solution that significantly reduced water and energy wastage. Initially introduced in the Palakkad district, the product rapidly gained popularity among farmers and homeowners alike, setting the stage for what was to come.
As the business grew, so did its aspirations. In 2019, Saron relocated from the college campus to a private facility, and by 2021, Mr. Anuraj made a bold decision — he left his teaching career to fully dedicate himself to the company's mission.
Then came the global COVID-19 pandemic. While the world came to a standstill, Saron Innovature saw an opportunity to help. With agility and purpose, the team developed a touchless automatic sanitizer dispenser, which quickly became a viral success — boosting not just public safety, but also the company’s reach and revenue.
Post-pandemic, Saron Innovature took its next big leap by moving into the KINFRA Defence Park, Ottapalam — a hub for cutting-edge innovation. Here, the company launched a diverse range of wireless water level controllers, smart lighting sensors, and began undertaking custom IoT projects that cater to industries, homes, and institutions across the country.
